EAA Sport Pilot Briefing From Oshkosh Jan. 28

To Be Streamed Live On EAA Web Site

An update on the new sport pilot/light-sport aircraft rule and the progress on the infrastructure to make it a success will be held at the EAA Aviation Center on Friday, Jan. 28, beginning at 6 p.m. (Central Standard Time). The briefing will also be available live on the members' area of the EAA website.

Charlie Becker, Director of EAA Aviation Services, will highlight the progress made in the sport pilot community since the rule became effective on Sept. 1, 2004. He will include the latest updates from FAA, the ASTM standards process and the light-sport aircraft industry.

This is an outstanding opportunity for aviation enthusiasts interested in sport pilot to learn more about the rule and the possibilities for participating in this exciting new area of recreational aviation. For those in the Oshkosh area, attendance at the free sport pilot briefing is also welcome. To attend the briefing in person, call 800-967-5746 to register.

To access the live webcast, EAA members should enter the members-only area of the EAA website and proceed to the event link. The webcast will also be archived for viewing after its initial presentation on Jan. 28.
