Carpenter Avionics is Now Forge Flightworks

Service Center and Repair Station Expands Portfolio of Services

Carpenter Avionics has announced its name change to Forge Flightworks, intended to reflect the company’s expansion into a broader array of installation, repair, interiors, and similar services for general aviation aircraft of all kinds. The name change is simply a result of evolution, with no ownership or management changes.

“When Mr. Carpenter began this company in 1981, he had a mission that was focused on providing truly exemplary avionics installation, repair, and maintenance,” said Mark Lee, CEO.

“The marketplace for general aviation services has changed over the past 40 years with many aircraft operators seeking a one-stop solution for their avionics, interior, airframe and other services,” Lee continued. “We have begun to offer additional services beyond avionics, as noted in our aircraft interiors announcement in June 2021. Our rebranding of the company now is intended to better position our organization to offer a broader spectrum of services to better meet the needs of our customers.”

Their interior design department began working with Speed & Design to offer a design team for aircraft interiors, with custom tailored, bespoke quality with the best materials available. Their designs have won awards in the automotive arena, winning trophies in show car competitions. With leather, cloth, or any textiles desired by the customer, any aircraft can be brought up to the highest interior standard, according to their interior design specialists.
