Aero-TV: High Flying Models Take the Stage at SUN 'n FUN 2025

Pilot Mall’s Handcrafted Aircraft Replicas Celebrate All Eras of Aviation

At the 2025 SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, High Flying Models drew crowds to its booth for its growing line of handcrafted scale aircraft models. Each model, hand-carved from Philippine Mahogany and meticulously painted, is built-to-order or selected from a catalog of over 300 designs.

The lineup, offered under all-things-aviation supplier Pilot Mall, spans general aviation, military, commercial, and even spaceflight. Despite the wide selection, there are bound to be several customers whose planes didn’t make the cut for the official website. This is why High Flying Models accepts custom orders.

“It's an honor and a privilege to help people, you know, take something that has history in their family, the first plane they flew in, the one they retired in, and make it in a scalable, smaller size they can put on their desk,” expressed Stephanie Glazer, VP of Business Development for Pilot Mall. “And, it doesn't require as much maintenance and fuel.”

Licensed by Cessna, Beechcraft, Boeing, and others, the company’s models meet official branding and design standards. The models are well-loved gifts for aviators, recently being ordered for pilots in the US Air Force Thunderbirds team.

At the end of the day, Glazer continued, the High Flying Models brand is a passion project meant for one purpose: “When they unbox that gift… we want them smiling.”
