Southeast Aerospace Receives STC For Airbus Retrofit

Allows Installation Of Second MultiScan Radar

The FAA has issued STC approval (STC ST02084SE) to Southeast Aerospace (SEA) for modifications to the Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 series aircraft. The STC allows the installation of a second Rockwell Collins WRT-2100 (MultiScan Radar) Receiver-Transmitter in the aircraft listed above.

The Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 series aircraft are short haul aircraft typically equipped with a single radar. The installation of the second radar allows for dual redundancy and for dispatch of the aircraft in the event of a single radar failure.

Southeast Aerospace will be offering a radar package with FAA STC approval, specific engineering and technical publication updates included at no additional charge when the WRT-2100 is purchased from SEA. On-site support is available for an additional fee.
