Report: BizAv Activity Increases In First Half Of 2017

Argus International Tracks Arrivals And Departures In The U.S. And Canada

Business aviation activity has increased in the first half of 2017, according to a report from Argus International.

The Wichita Eagle reports that, according to a report a new TraqPak report from Argus International, activity rose nearly four percent in the first half of the year, while flight hours rose by six percent.

The report focuses on the number of business aircraft instrument flight rules arrivals and departures in the U.S. and Canada. It includes activity in Alaska and Hawaii.

According to the report, charter activity saw the greatest increase, up 10 percent over the same period last year. Fractional operations climbed more than five percent.

The report indicated that private business aircraft operations were even with the first half of 2016.
