True Blue Power Energizes NBAA 2024 Coverage

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics and True Blue Power Have 4000 Watts For You At NBAA 2024 Booth #2331

True Blue Power Announces 4,000-Watt Frequency Converter STC Approved on Gulfstream G450, G550, G650 and G650ER Series Aircraft

New AC-to-AC frequency converter cuts replacement costs, is the lightest and quietest in its power class

True Blue Power Frequency Converters will be on display in the True Blue Power and Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics booth, #2331, throughout NBAA-BACE, October 22 – 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The True Blue Power TFC4000 Frequency Converter is STC approved on Gulfstream G450, G550, G650 and G650ER aircraft. The TFC4000 is the lightest and quietest frequency converter in its power class. It provides up to 4,000 watts of wall outlet power to cabin equipment, and is a direct and more reliable replacement for existing GE Aviation Systems 717220-1, 717220-2, 717220-2R and Avionic Instruments 1-002-0102-2444 and 1-002-0102-2052 frequency converters. The validation process with Canada (TCCA), Europe (EASA), and Brazil (ANAC) has already been completed.

“The TFC4000 provides 15% more power than the frequency converters it is designed to replace,” said Van Winter, Vice President of Marketing and Aftermarket Sales. “It provides reliable power to outlets throughout the aircraft, supporting electronics and appliances, from laptops and computer systems to coffee makers, galley equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.”

True Blue Power partnered with Sterling Helicopter, an industry-leading certification resource, to develop the TFC4000 STC for Gulfstream G450, G550, G650 and G650ER aircraft.

“Having reliable cabin power is important, and True Blue Power’s frequency converter is the answer,” said Edward Allen, Director of Engineering for Sterling Helicopter. “The TFC4000 significantly reduces maintenance and replacement costs and is much quieter than the current frequency converter it replaces, making it the best overall value available.”

True Blue Power® TFC4000 Series AC-to-AC Frequency Converter Benefits

The TFC4000 Series is available with an output voltage of 115 VAC at 60 Hz or 230 VAC at 50 Hz and delivers up to 4,000 watts of wall outlet power.

The Lightest
Weighing in at only 18.9 lbs. (8.57 kg), the TFC4000 is 30% lighter than competing converters. It is the lightest frequency converter in its power class.

The Quietest
Independent temperature and speed-controlled fans significantly reduce noise. It is the quietest frequency converter on the market.

The Most Reliable
Silicon carbide technology, custom magnetics and plenum cooling increase efficiency and protect internal components from moisture and contaminants commonly found outside the pressure vessel and in non-temperature-controlled locations, like the “Hell Hole”.
