Planning Underway For 42nd Copperstate Fly-In

Offering Expanded Youth Programs, Expecting More Vendors

Preparations are underway for the 42nd annual Copperstate Fly-In & Aviation Expo scheduled for October 23-25, 2014, at the Casa Grande Municipal Airport, Arizona. The theme for this year’s event is “Keeping the Dream Alive.”

More than 500 aircraft were on the field last year, with attendance topping 6,100 from 12 countries and 37 states. That was about 10 percent more than the 2012 fly-in. Copperstate forums also drew the most attendees in five years.

“This year, we’re expanding our youth aviation programs,” said Copperstate President Stephen Bass. “We’re also expecting more avionics vendors and flight schools to be on hand.”

Like the 2013 fly-in, Copperstate 2014 will be a nontowered operation. Visit the Copperstate website for more information.
