Cessna Reportedly Wants Two Airplanes Back From Musician

Dexter Holland Had Financed A Third Cessna, But The Planemaker Says He's Behind On Payments

The lead singer of the punk band "The Offspring" has apparently run afoul of Cessna's finance department in an attempt to purchase a third airplane from the company.

The celebrity gossip site TMZ.com reports that Holland already owned two Cessna airplanes, (models not disclosed), and had put them up as collateral when he negotiated to buy a third airplane (model also not disclosed).

TMZ reports that, according to Cessna, in 2007 Holland agreed to sell the two airplanes privately and pay the planemaker for the third airplane, and had given him until 2017 to retire the balance of the deal. But Cessna now says Holland has not made a payment in over a year, and the musician is into them to the tune of $782,422.16. Not surprisingly, they want their money.

Alternatively, they want the airplanes Holland put up as collateral.
