At EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 ANN’s News Editor, Tom Patton, took a walk to find some of the neat electronic stuff and talked with Eric Hake, a ForeFlight Evangelist. In case you hadn’t figured it out by his title, Hake knows his stuff about ForeFlight.
It would be hard to believe that anyone doesn’t know at least something about the ForeFlight product and Hake explains some of the features of the new 6.3 version. Hake seemed enamored with the “More” button and quickly demonstrated some of the cool features in the weight and balance portion of the program.
As fingers fly and buttons are pushed, Hake continues to demonstrate some amazing features in the 6.3 version of ForeFlight. The video provides demonstrations and can answer questions that would take 1,000 words. When asked about the development of these programs, Hake explained it’s a combination of some fantastic engineers combined with customer input. If you don’t know much about ForeFlight this video is well worth watching, and if you are a ForeFlight user, you might just learn something.
