Gogo Is New Brand For Combined Companies

Gogo Business Aviation And Satcom Direct Unify Under One Brand

Chris Moore, CEO of the company formed by the acquisition of Satcom Direct by Gogo Business Aviation, announced that Gogo will be the new brand of the unified connectivity providers. The new identity and logo leverage the strong brand legacy of both companies and also reflect their expanded business capabilities.

The new brand fuses the familiar Gogo name with the Satcom Direct blue that reflects confidence and trust. The new logo echoes the legacies that both companies bring to the segment and the global strategic mission of Gogo— to be the world’s only multi-orbit, multi-band connectivity provider delivering inflight connectivity solutions for both business and military aviation customers from a single source.

Chris Moore, CEO of Gogo explained, “The new brand represents how we can provide a seamless connectivity offering to our customers wherever they fly. In an increasingly complex connectivity landscape, the brand reflects our contemporary approach to delivering a diverse portfolio of connectivity solutions to all sizes of aircraft from a single resource.

“For resilient connectivity, owners and operators can maximize years of experience and knowledge with one phone call to acquire, manage and support all their connectivity requirements. We chose to keep the Gogo name with its dynamic spirit, albeit without the Business Aviation tag, and we’ve mixed it with the familiar blue from SD.

“It is a simple but powerful representation of what we offer. It’s an important step and we know our clients will appreciate what it stands for as we enter an exciting new chapter going forward.”

The military/government division and the company’s data center will retain the SD Government and SD Data Center brands. Chris Moore said, “These are both Gogo group companies but have very specific markets that are familiar with these names, which is why we are choosing to maximize this familiarity,”
