For the sixth time over the last seven years, Mexicana is
awarded this important recognition given by worldwide tourism
specialists: The World Travel Awards are presented every year with
the purpose of recognizing and celebrating the largest
accomplishments of worldwide tourism. This year, in which Mexicana
commemorates being the airline with the most modern fleet in the
world by introducing 40 new aircraft, worldwide tourism specialists
have voted Mexicana as the best airline in Central and Latin
America through a worldwide survey conducted by the World Travel
Awards.
The voting process consists of surveying over 80,000
professionals in the tourism industry in over 200 countries. The
World Travel Awards have been evaluating services around the world
since 1983.
Mexicana was recognized for its excellence in service and
professionalism rendered throughout 82 years of continuous
operation. "Mexicana," the company says, "is the natural choice for
passengers traveling to/from Mexico due to the wide network of
routes and the conveniences provided by its affiliation with Star
Alliance, the largest airline network in the world."
Among other achievements, Mexicana may also be the airline with
the most modern fleet in the world. Through the renovation of its
fleet, passengers can enjoy greater comfort and safety that its new
equipment, the Airbus A319 and A320 provide.
A company press release said, "Mexicana takes great pride in
having received the World Travel Award, as it means that more and
more people all over the world are familiar with the advantages of
flying on the most experienced and modern airline in Mexico."
