Three Injured When Plane Gets Stuck In A Tree

Aerial Survey Plane Was Heading Back To The Airport

A plane which had been conducting aerial survey work in Massachusetts reportedly became stuck in a tree near Plymouth Municipal Airport.

FAA Spokeswoman Arlene Salac told the Associated Press that the plane was returning to the airport about 1715 EDT Saturday after performing aerial survey work. However, it did not make its intended destination, and wound up in a tree in a residential area. None of the three people on board was seriously injured.

FAA records show the 1968 Cessna 401 as being registered to Christopher Cox in Hampton, GA, but he told the Boston Globe that he had sold the aircraft to a company called Oasis Flight Services last month. Salac said it was too early to have any indication about what might have caused the accident.
