Yingling Aviation Acquires Global Engineering & Technology

Expands Footprint In Wichita, Adding Capacity And Expertise

Yingling Aviation, a full-service provider of MRO and FBO services for business and general aviation based in Wichita, Kansas, announced its acquisition of Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GETI), provider of aircraft interior services also based in Wichita.

The acquisition expands Yingling’s footprint in Wichita as well as gaining access to GETI’s capabilities and track record of excellence spanning the full range of aircraft interior repair and design services. These include cabinet restoration, upholstered panel recovering, new furniture production, and seat recovering and refurbishment.

Yingling’s footprint will grow with the addition of GETI’s 60,000 square feet and bolster its ability for further growth.

Bob Rasberry, CEO of Yingling Aviation said, “Integrating GETI into our operations will allow us to greatly increase our scope of work for interior renovations while accelerating client turnaround times. Having collaborated closely with GETI over the years, we have firsthand knowledge of the quality of their team and its outstanding reputation across the industry.”

Kurt Smith, President of GETI explained, “Together, we have the potential to unlock real synergies by combining our knowledge and experience in interior fabrications with Yingling’s deep maintenance and repair expertise. We look forward to working closely with the Yingling team as we integrate our organizations, diversify our customer base, and bring our comprehensive capabilities to market.”

Jon Nemo, Managing Partner at AE Industrial Partners said, “The acquisition of GETI marks another milestone in our strategy to build a unique independent MRO platform with deep operating experience and technical expertise to serve the business aviation market. The range of services GETI provides is a natural complement to Yingling’s MRO business and will allow us to unlock new growth opportunities together.”
