AirVenture Express Arrival Program Detailed

Oshkosh Attendees Urged to Use Program to Minimize Crowding

The Express Arrival program for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 has been detailed, helping EAA members and their guests with pre-purchased admission move through the admission gates faster.

It's a very familiar system for those who have been to an amusement park in the last 20 years, allowing attendees to get their tickets in advance and waltz on through the waiting lines. The first Express Arrival program began in 2021 in response to the then-vital interpersonal distance requirements that governed all public events, but the convenience and ease quickly became popular enough to keep it going.

Those who opt to use the system will be put through the Express gates on show day, bypassing the primary attendance line. Bags and gear are still subject to security screenings, though campers can drive straight through the express vehicle gate with their credentials.

“Honeywell’s support is making it easier for our members and their guests to get to the flight line or their camping locations faster when they get to Oshkosh,” said Ren Scott, EAA’s director of business development. “With all the great things to see at Oshkosh, the less time spent in line, the better.”

“We are pleased to sponsor Express Arrival and to support EAA in their mission of inspiring and educating aviation enthusiasts. AirVenture is a gathering of family and friends from around the globe and a celebration of the passion, innovation, and diversity that make aviation such a glorious industry,” said Andrew Barker, Vice President and General Manager for Honeywell Integrated Avionics. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with EAA and showcasing the latest Honeywell Aerospace technologies and solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance for pilots and operators around the world.”
