Careers in Aviation to Offer Aero-Scholarship Info

Scholarships Currently Being Funded

Careers in Aviation has announced a new interactive web-based scholarship portal, to be fully-operational on August 1st, 2003.

CareersinAvation.org will provide scholarship, career, and relevant airshow information for America's youth. The purpose of the website will be to educate youth about aviation careers, aviation-oriented schools and universities, and to link interested youth with established mentors in the aviation industry.

Careers in Aviation's scholarship portal will provide a comprehensive list of scholarships available to students attending aviation oriented schools and universities. Careers in Aviation will also be awarding over $100,000 in scholarships to assist college students and aspiring aviation professionals in aviation technology, engineering, pilots, air traffic controllers and aviation maintenance fields.

Careers in Aviation has secured approximately $75,000 through donations from various industry leaders, including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Delta Connection, Inc., AT&T, AeroShell, Cox Communications, Elite Flight Centers, and Afterburner Seminars.

[Careers in Aviation is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta (GA), with the primary goal of educating America's youth about aviation opportunities. Careers in Aviation is currently producing an educational career video that will be distributed to high schools and middle schools across the country.  Careers in Aviation operates an L-39, British Strikemaster, and Christen Eagle II at 26 airshows annually.]

Careers in Aviation is currently in the process of raising the remaining scholarship funds, and anticipates all scholarships to be fully funded in the next two months.
