Boeing Appoints New CEO For Jeppesen

Ken Sain Will Take The Reins Of The Business

Ken Sain has been named vice president, Digital Aviation & Analytics for Boeing Global Services. In this role, Sain is responsible for Boeing’s digital aviation solution portfolio, as well as the development and delivery of Boeing’s data analytics-powered products and services. In addition, Sain is responsible for leading Boeing subsidiary companies, AerData, Boeing Vancouver and Jeppesen.

Sain (pictured), previously served as Jeppesen chief operating officer, and vice-president of product and portfolio management, where he oversaw the development and integration of the broad suite of crew, flight optimization, maintenance, and analytics solutions within the Digital Aviation portfolio. Prior to that, Sain was director of strategy and business development for Boeing Fleet Services. Before joining Boeing, he was a principal at A.T. Kearney, specializing in strategy, growth and new-market entry for airlines, aftermarket service providers and airline system providers.

“I cannot think of a more exciting aviation sector to work in, where information, technology, data analytics and digital solutions are coming together to transform our industry,” said Sain. “Game-changing value is being delivered today by Boeing AnalytX powered navigation and operational efficiency solutions to hundreds of operators around the world. And, the future promises another step-change increase in customer value as digital aircraft become more common in the fleet.”

Boeing Global Services, headquartered in the Dallas, TX area, was formed by integrating the services capabilities of the government, space and commercial sectors into a single, customer-focused business. Operating as a third business unit of Boeing, Global Services provides agile, cost-competitive services to commercial and government customers worldwide.
