GAMA Adds Four Companies to Membership Roster

GAMA Adds Four New Member Companies

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association expanded its roster with the inclusion of four new associate members, each heralding innovative contributions to aviation technology. Electric Power Systems, Pivotal, Venus Aerospace, and VoltAero join GAMA's EPIC program, showcasing a shared commitment to advancing the future of flight through electric and hybrid propulsion systems, and hypersonic research.

Electric Power Systems, established in 2016 and based in North Logan, Utah, specializes in high-power, scalable powertrains for electrified aviation. The company's dedication to producing smarter, lighter, and more efficient batteries positions it as a leader in powering the next generation of electric aircraft.

Pivotal, with its roots in Palo Alto, California since 2011, has carved a niche in the burgeoning eVTOL market.

The company's light eVTOL aircraft, the BlackFly, combines powerful capabilities with intuitive controls. Its unique tilt-aircraft architecture offers a scalable platform that promises an unparalleled flying experience, making it the first of its kind to reach commercial buyers in the United States.

Venus Aerospace, a Houston, Texas-based startup founded in 2020, is steering the charge towards hypersonic flight. With a vision to connect the world and enhance global safety, Venus Aerospace is at the forefront of designing vehicles capable of reaching unprecedented speeds.

VoltAero, from the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of southwest France, is developing the Cassio family of airplanes, which will be powered by electric-hybrid propulsion. VoltAero's Cassio aircraft, catering to a range of five to 12 passengers, epitomizes the company's commitment to safe, quiet, efficient, and eco-friendly aviation solutions.

The induction of these four members into GAMA's ranks underscores a pivotal shift in the industry towards sustainable aviation technologies. Each company brings a unique perspective and innovation to the table, collectively pushing the boundaries of what is possible in aviation, from electrification to hypersonic speeds. Their inclusion in GAMA not only reflects the diverse landscape of modern aviation but also the association's role in fostering technological advancements that promise to redefine air travel in the coming years.
