Landmark Aviation Performs First Installation Of Raisbeck-Hartzell Propellers

New Props In Service On King Air B200

Landmark Aviation’s Norfolk International Airport (ORF) location performed the first installation of Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers last month. The new propellers from Raisbeck Engineering, Inc. and Hartzell Propellers, Inc. have entered service on the King Air B200, BB 1723. The event also marked the first installation of the Raisbeck Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers with the FAA-certified Raisbeck Epic Platinum Performance Package.

“Our relationship with Raisbeck Engineering dates back many years, and we are very happy to have taken another first step with them,” Director of Aircraft Services, Howard Henry, explained. “We are also pleased to offer this technology to our clients; the innovative Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers will certainly enhance their aircraft.”

According to Raisbeck, the Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers were designed to have high performance, with no increase in weight over current Raisbeck propellers. Because of their unique combination of characteristics, the propellers are an optimal and affordable aluminum choice for aircraft.

"It was an exciting time for all of us at Raisbeck to deliver our new Swept Blade Propellers,” Former President of Beechcraft and Executive Advisor to Raisbeck Engineering, Randy Groom, explained. “It is rare to deliver advanced technology that provides so much performance in a product that looks so incredibly breathtaking. And, the folks at Landmark did a superb job in all aspects of making this a great experience for the customer."

Raisbeck Systems are currently available at Landmark locations in Greensboro, NC (GSO), Norfolk, VA (ORF), Scottsdale, AZ (SDL), Winston-Salem, NC (INT), and Sioux Falls, SD (FSD).
