Airshow London Announces Drive-In Event

September Air Show to Sport Snowbirds, Vipers, and More

Airshow London announced their headliners for this year's drive-in airshow, with the September 13-15 event sporting big names like the Canadian Snowbirds and F-16 Viper Demonstration Team.

Both will be accompanied by additional North American airshow performers, with an "impressive ground display of additional aircrafts parked all weekend offering a rare and exciting aviation experience for attendees". Thankfully the London International Airport has enough space for plenty of eye candy, allowing visitors around the city a rare glimpse at aviation legends in the metal.

The 2024 show will see Airshow London celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force. It will be the 5th year for the drive-in format, which has proven unexpectedly popular after 4 sold-out years in a row. "SkyDrive continues to advance guest experience by adding on-site attractions such as food trucks, vendors, STEM activities and interactive displays," affirms staff, assuaging concerns that there wouldn't be any tasty festival treats on-hand to take in the show.

“We are proud of our ongoing recognition as a leading air show, hosting the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, CF-18 Demonstration Team and U.S. Air Force F-16 Demonstration Team to deliver an unparalleled experience for our guests,” says Gerry Vanderhoek, Director of Air Operations, Airshow London. “We continue to advance our innovative drive-in format and look forward to showcasing SkyDrive once again. We are excited to share more exciting announcements in the coming weeks and months,” adds Vanderhoek.
