WACO Classic Aircraft Expands Representation

Dealers Added In The Caribbean and Africa

WACO Classic Aircraft Corporation of Battle Creek, Michigan, has partnered with Propel Aviation Sales, LLC, serving the east coast of the United States, Central and South America and Tropical Aviation Distributors/Africair, Inc. to serve the Caribbean, and the continent of Africa respectively.

Propel Aviation Sales, LLC, founded in 2006, offers aircraft sales and acquisition services as well as outstanding and professional customer support to aircraft owners.  They will be representing WACO Classic in the eastern part of the United States, and are committed to continued prompt and efficient service to customers.  Tropical Aviation Distributors (TAD) has served the needs of aircraft owners and operators in the Caribbean and South America since its inception in 1984. Africair has served the African aviation community since 1968.

The addition of these exceptional companies to our current noteworthy partners, USAERO in the Western United States and Soko Aviation in Europe  establishes nearly global representation for WACO Classic Aircraft.

Classic Aircraft Corporation began manufacturing the Waco Classic aircraft in 1983 ... a fifty-year-old design manufactured new but under the original FAA type certificate.

Classic hired experienced engineering talent from Piper, Taylorcraft and Ford. While maintaining the sanctity of WACO's design, this team of proven professionals modernized the aircraft with over 300 engineering changes, redrew over 1400 drawings, and built new tooling for production.

The first WACO YMF Classic rolled off the assembly line and received FAA certification under the original WACO type certificate in March of 1986.
