Jeppesen Inks three-Year Agreement With Jet Aviation

Will Provide EFB And Other Services For EMEA and Asia Aircraft Management Division

Jeppesen and Jet Aviation’s aircraft management division in EMEA & Asia, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, have signed a three-year, multiple service renewal agreement. The two companies have worked together for nearly 30 years. Complete Jeppesen solutions provided in the service renewal agreement include flight planning, electronic flight bag (EFB) software, tailored digital and paper charting, NavData services and OpsData services.

Jet Aviation’s EMEA & Asia aircraft management division manages a fleet ranging from small to large business jets from its Zurich, Dubai and Hong Kong operational centers. The company provides multiple business aviation operations services with assistance from the solutions delivered by Jeppesen. A total integrated Jeppesen business aviation solution suite has helped Jet Aviation to establish its growing market presence in aircraft management services over time.

“In the early 1980’s, we started a cooperation with Jeppesen for our flight planning needs,” said Jürg Reuthinger, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s aircraft management division in EMEA & Asia. “Ever since, we have fully relied on their state-of-the-art systems as we have gone through a tremendous time of growth, with much appreciated assistance and expertise provided by Jeppesen. We are now looking back on almost 30 years of partnership and we are looking forward to further fruitful cooperation with Jeppesen.”

Jeppesen OpsData computes maximize aircraft payload, increase safety and comply with regulatory requirements for its client base, while NavData services provide the most accurate and complete aeronautical navigation data available.

“Jeppesen is proud to extend our long-standing partnership with Jet Aviation’s EMEA & Asia aircraft management division, as our complete navigation and operations solutions help to streamline operations and reduce costs in a challenging business aviation economy,” said Thomas Wede, Jeppesen senior vice president and general manager, Aviation. “Jeppesen provides total business aviation navigation and operations optimization services across the diverse types of aircraft operated by Jet Aviation to ensure data continuity and delivery of vital information.”
