Duncan Aviation Developing STCs for Gogo Galileo HDX

Installations Aimed at Challenger 300/350 and Citation C680A Latitude Aircraft

Duncan Aviation and Gogo Business Aviation are collaborating to complete Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for the installation of Gogo’s Galileo HDX high speed inflight internet on Challenger 300/350 and Cessna Citation C680A Latitude aircraft.

Utilizing the Eutelsat OneWeb’s enterprise-grade Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) satellite network, Gogo delivers low variability and consistent performance on routes around the world. The HDX system provides fast, low-latency connectivity, and because of its small size it is a relatively rapid upgrade for aircraft already equipped with any of the Gogo AVANCE systems – L3, L5, LX5, and SCS.

Shawn Carraher, Duncan Aviation’s Manager of Engineering said, “This collaboration for new STCs with Gogo Business Aviation is the latest in a long line of STCs we’ve developed with Gogo over the years. We’re pleased to be working with a company that has consistently provided reliable connectivity systems for our business aviation customers.”

Duncan says the STCs for the CL300/350 and Citation C680A are expected to be approved and available in 2025.

Gogo encourages owner/operators wishing to upgrade their aircraft to the AVANCE SCS and HDX from legacy Air-to-Ground (ATG) systems such as the 1000, 2000, 4,000 and 5,000 can visit Gogo’s promotion page on their website. There will also be information available at their booth #1500 at the 2024 NBAA-BASE in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 22-24 for in person consultations.
