AeroConversions Offers Pre-Assembled Prop Hub/Crankshaft

Upgrade Available For AeroVee 2.1 Engine Kit

Sonex Aircraft announced this week the latest enhancement to the popular AeroConversions AeroVee Engine Kit: all AeroConversions customers now have the opportunity to upgrade their purchase with a Pre-Assembled Prop Hub/Crankshaft Assembly, making the AeroVee Engine simpler to build.

The cost of the Pre-Assembled Prop Hub/Crankshaft Upgrade is $295.

Sonex says the vast majority of AeroVee customers have successfully installed the shrink-fit AeroVee prop hub using simple tools and instructions given in the AeroVee Assembly Manual and companion AeroVee Assembly DVD... but some customers have encountered difficulty. The new Pre-Assembled Prop Hub/Crankshaft Upgrade is intended to make AeroVee Engine assembly as simple as possible for all aircraft builders.

The AeroVee prop hub/crankshaft assembly features shrink-fit mating of the AeroVee prop hub to a custom, purpose-built crankshaft.

The AeroVee 2.1 is a complete VW Conversion Engine Kit Package, by AeroConversions, a product line of Sonex Aircraft, LLC. The AeroVee 2.1 package is a 2180 cc, 80 hp aircraft engine that can be run on 100LL or auto fuel. The complete package weighs 161 lbs complete, and represents over 35 years of experience in pioneering and innovating VW engine conversions. All of the supplied components are brand-new, zero-time parts including conversion parts that meet high quality standards, machined out of solid billet, providing for the strongest and most consistent conversion components ever produced.
