Hilton Software Unveils Free PIC Brief Application

Optimized For Desktops, Laptops... And iPhones!

Hilton Software LLC has announced PIC Brief, a free web-based service that is optimized for desktops, laptops, the Apple iPhone and other mobile devices. PIC Brief provides pilots with up-to-the-minute METARs, TAFs, animated RADAR, NACO Charts, VFR sectionals, IFR enroute charts and more.

PIC Brief is compatible with all major browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari, as well as Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch Safari.

"By leveraging our advanced WingX Technology, we are able to bring flight information to the desktop and the iPhone by consolidating much of the pre-flight information into a fast, easy-to-use user experience," said Dr. Hilton Goldstein, company founder and CEO. "PIC Brief compliments our market-leading WingX for Windows Mobile and WingX for BlackBerry products and intelligently optimizes the user experience for iPhone and iPod Touch users. We are very excited to extend our aviation information services to desktops, iPhones, and other mobile devices."

PIC Brief is available immediately at the first FMI link below.
