Skyservice Gets TCAA STC For Gogo Galileo HDX

Gulfstream G280 Installations Approved, Additional Agencies Pending

Skyservice Business Aviation, Mississauga, Ontario,-based provider of FBO, MRO, charter, and sales and management services announced it has received a Supplemental Type Certification from the Transport Canada Civil Aviation authority for the installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna system on Gulfstream G280 aircraft.

Approval by additional aviation agencies is pending, including from the U.S. FAA, Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), and EASA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.

Skyservice currently holds STCs from TCCA, FAA, EASA, ANAC and the British Civil Aviation Authority, or CAA, for a wide variety of satellite, WiFi, and in-cabin communications and entertainment solutions. This latest STC approval provides an additional option for operators of Gulfstream G280 to upgrade their connectivity systems.

Customers already using an existing Gogo ATG or air-to-ground system, this offers a seamless upgrade option to get the benefits of high-speed low latency broadband connectivity ahead of the 2025 year-end conversion deadline.

Benjamin Murray, President and Chief Executive Officer of Skyservice said, "We continue to expand our capabilities to support the latest in-flight connectivity solutions. Our robust and certified list of STCs alongside our expert aircraft maintenance engineers (AMEs) provide our clients with choice, accessibility and consultancy to the fastest, most reliable connectivity options available in business aviation today."

Chris Moore, Chief Executive Officer of Gogo added, "Skyservice consistently demonstrates the technical expertise we look for in a partner. The team's strategic and thoughtful approach to certification, combined with their thorough understanding of client needs, makes them a trusted partner for deploying our Galileo HDX solutions."
