Club Airways Partners With PrivatPort

Closer Cooperation with Swissport Exec. Aviation and PrivatAir

Club Airways has chosen PrivatPort S.A., a recent joint venture between PrivatAir and Swissport Geneva, for the ground handling of its flights at Geneva International Airport.

Ground services for Club Airways flights will be provided by Swissport Executive Aviation at the airports of Basle, Nice, and Zurich; PrivatAir will take responsibility for the handling of flights at Paris le Bourget airport.

With these new collaborations, the company says members of Club Airways will experience ground handling services of superior quality perfectly suited to their needs. Club Airways, in turn, will benefit from higher visibility at the different locations.

Mr. Hans J. Schwab, founder and CEO of Club Airways says, “this association with two established and dynamic companies, both operating in a constantly evolving industry will allow us to quickly establish new standards of service and add real value for business travelers.”

Club Airways will expand its offering by operating with a higher frequency to most of its current destinations (Paris, London City, Milan, and Basle). In March, it will venture into the German market with new connections between Düsseldorf and London City as well as Düsseldorf and Zurich. Düsseldorf will constitute Club Airways’ first destination in Germany.

PrivatPort, a joint venture between Swissport Geneva and PrivatAir, based at Geneva International Airport with eight staff, is responsible for the ground handling at the business terminal C3.

Club Airways -- founded in December 2002 and operating between several European cities since February 2003 -- is Europe’s premier Members-only airline offering flights to several European capitals in the comfort and privacy of business jets. Club Airways uses private aviation facilities only, allowing the business traveler to save an average of 3 hours per day and avoid the hassle of over-crowded commercial airports.
