Companies to Develop Oceana Vertiport Network
Volatus Infrastructure & Energy Solutions (VI&E Solutions), a firm specializing in the development of infrastructure germane to vehicle-agnostic electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aviation, has entered into a joint-venture with Australian-based eVTOL concern Ace VTOL.

The newly-announced undertaking speaks to the two companies’ shared aspirations to establish an Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) infrastructure network in the Oceania region, develop a wheelchair-accessible solar-powered lift, and integrate Ace’s open-sourced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based, Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) architecture for purpose of ensuring safety of flight.
Volatus co-founder Grant Fisk stated: “Working with Brett [Ace VTOL CEO Brett Northey] these last few months has made us realize all the different projects we are able to collaborate on. It’s remarkable to see so many ideas come together and expand when you share core philosophies.”
Mr. Northey echoed Fisk’s sentiments, setting forth: “Our joint venture with VI&E Solutions signifies a decisive first step for the realization of a new transport demographic for people in the Oceania region. VI&E Solutions will enable a connective framework of eVTOL ownership and operations for private and commercial use cases to shorten the distances in our great southern lands. Ace is very proud to be working with Grant Fisk and his visionary team as we collectively look to revolutionize the way people move.”
Ace VTOL is a technology and transportation company about the business of developing safe and sustainable eVTOL aircraft with multirole airframes for commercial, logistics, and municipal applications. Ace is committed to alleviating the practical and environmental issues deriving of conventional means of transportation and the infrastructures pertinent to such. The company seeks to increase property and business valuation through connectivity and the Australia emergence at the vanguard of the nascent AAM sector.

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin, Volatus Infrastructure exists for the stated purpose of “connecting communities to the future with best-in-class eVTOL infrastructure technology to ensure society is ready for the future.” Volatus offers three principal eVTOL infrastructure designs, a vehicle-agnostic charging station, as well as an app and maintenance programs.
