Atlantic Aviation Adds Dallas Love Field (DAL) Facility

Everything’s Bigger…

Atlantic Aviation, the Plano, Texas-based FBO giant with 103 locations on airports from Addison to Waukesha, has broadened its stake in the Lone Star State with the completion of its acquisition and initial renovations of Textar Aviation, one of the largest FBO properties on Dallas Love Field (DAL).

The facility’s existing lobby, offices, hangars, and fuel-farm have been rebranded as Atlantic Aviation, and continue to undergo extensive upgrades. In time, Atlantic plans to expand its DAL footprint even further by constructing a new, state-of-the-art flagship FBO.

Atlantic Aviation CEO Lou Pepper remarked: “Love Field is one of our nation’s top three business aviation airports, and having a major presence there has been a goal of our company for some time. We are excited about the amount of space we have, and are looking forward to building a first-class facility in the coming years.”

Atlantic’s presence at DAL now includes approximately 51-acres of aircraft ramp space and vehicle parking, fuel-farms, 697,000-square-feet of hangar and office space, and an additional eight-acres of as-yet undeveloped land upon which Atlantic looks to erect additional hangar space.

The last several years have seen Atlantic Aviation strategically add to its presence at key destinations. In summer 2022, the company acquired Blue Heron Aviation, thereby extending the reach of its services to Providenciales International Airport (PLS) in Turks and Caicos. The acquisition at DAL is the largest single FBO purchase Atlantic Aviation has made in the last ten-years.

Atlantic Aviation’s facilities provide a full suite of critical services to the business aviation sector. In addition to ramp space, fueling and line services, ground transportation, catering, and aircraft hangaring and deicing, Atlantic offers operators comprehensive aircraft logistical and maintenance services, to include: Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO); one-time-parts provision and/or comprehensive part supply-chain management, and avionics installations, upgrades, and repairs.
