Air Force Tech Sgt Displayed Outstanding Leadership, Mentorship, Advocacy

The National Aeronautic Association, or NAA, announced that U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant Jessica D. Grant is the recipient of the 2024 Katherine and Marjorie Stinson Trophy, in recognition of her outstanding leadership, mentorship, and aviation advocacy.

She has broken barriers, empowered future generations, and served as a powerful role model through her professional achievements, community outreach, and staunch support of others.

Amy Spowart, President and CEO of NAA said, "Technical Sergeant Grant's leadership and mentorship have not only broken barriers and empowered future generations but have also instilled a sense of hope and inspiration for the future of aviation. She embodies the intent and purpose of this coveted recognition."

TSgt. Grant has been serving in the U.S. Air Force for over ten years and has distinguished herself in the specialty of Aircraft Fuel Systems. She has been instrumental through her leadership in executing critical missions globally, and her technical expertise contributes significantly to resource savings for the Air Force.

She is dedicated to training and empowering future Airmen, and especially women, encouraging them in both technical and leadership roles. She established the first women-led fuel cell team and paved the way creating inclusive training programs.

TSgt. Grant said, “It is always an honor to be recognized for the things you genuinely enjoy doing. Receiving this award encourages me to keep pushing forward, uplifting others, and continuing the work I am passionate about. As a woman in aviation, a mother, and wife, I hope this recognition inspires others to break barriers and pursue what drives them.”
