Indiana Money Manager In Plane Crash Hoax Plans Book

Focus To Be On Bi-Polar Disorder

An Indiana money manager accused of crashing a plane to fake his own death says he will write a book about his attempt to run from his mounting personal problems, with a focus on bi-polar disorder.

Marcus Schrenker is accused of bilking several family members, friends, and others out of more than $1 million. He was convicted earlier this year of parachuting out of a plane on January 11th, which later crashed in a Florida swamp in an effort to fake his own death.

The Associated Press reports that Schrenker says he was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder while a student at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He told The Times of Munster (Indiana) that the book will focus heavily on that topic.

Prosecutors say Schrenker is a habitual liar.
