WAI Scholarships Are Open

Applications Being Accepted, So Apply Now!

The Women in Aviation International (WAI) scholarship program is officially open and accepting applications. There are 59 scholarships being provided by 41 funding entities for a wide variety of aviation career training programs.

This year’s cycle includes two new scholarships in aerospace engineering and flight training, and others are available for engineering, maintenance, dispatch, and general career advancement for individuals at all stages of life and career. Applicants may apply for up to three scholarships per year.

Many of the awards will be presented during the 36th Annual Women in Aviation International Conference in Denver, Colorado, from March 27-29, 2025.

Stephanie Kenyon, WAI Chief Operating Officer said, “WAI proactively works to address our industry’s challenges, and one of those priorities is investing in our current and future global workforce. The support of our annual scholarship program is one of the major benefits of being a WAI member, and we appreciate the generosity of our scholarship sponsors.”

Applicants must be a member of WAI as of October 1, 2024. Applications must be submitted by October 11, 2024, 11:59 pm EST.

WAI counts more than 20,000 members in 120 countries and is the largest organization in the world dedicated to promoting the number of women involved in all areas of aviation and aerospace. Since 1995, more than $15 million in scholarships has been awarded to WAI members.
