McFarlane Aviation Acquires Instrument Tech Corporation

Products Complement And Integrate To Extend McFarlane’s Extensive Offerings

McFarlane Aviation announced it has acquired aircraft parts provider Instrument Tech Corporation, in a deal that will extend McFarlane’s already extensive aircraft parts and accessories catalog.

McFarlane will benefit from the addition of high-quality parts such as fuel senders, horns, switches, and aircraft instruments. The products complement and will integrate seamlessly into McFarlane’s existing line of parts and accessories.

McFarlane offers more than 40,000 high-quality part, accessories, and innovative solutions for aviation, and it is the owner of a diverse range of brands including CJ Aviation, Flight-Resource (MT Propellers), Airforms, and PMA Products.

John Cowan at McFarlane said, “Instrument Tech Corp. fits well with our family of brands. This addition enhances our current offerings, particularly in McFarlane-manufactured fuel system parts, furthering our mission to keep our customers flying.”

McFarlane Aviation is a family-owned and operated business that designs and manufactures aircraft parts and accessories as well as provides products from its acquisitions. It is based in 110,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility at the Vinland Valley Aerodrome (K64) in Baldwin CIty, Kansas, with locations in Alaska and North Carolina.

McFarlane is a part of Victor Sierra Holdings, which is the parent company to several other well-respected aviation businesses including Tempest Aero Group, Aviation Products Systems, and their respective affiliated brands.
