Bob Kromer Appointed Simcom's Vice President, Marketing

Brings 30 Years Of Aviation Experience To Simulation Training Company

Bob Kromer has joined the SimCom Training International team as Vice President, Marketing. Kromer was most recently Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service at Piper Aircraft, Inc. in Vero Beach, FL. Throughout his 30-year career in general aviation, Kromer has also held various management and engineering positions at Cessna, Mooney, and Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporations. In addition, he has flown as an engineering test pilot and flight test engineer involved in the development and FAA certification of such aircraft as the Cessna Model P210N, the Cessna Citation Model 650, the Sino Swearingen SJ30 and various Mooney models. Kromer holds a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and has logged over 3,000 flight hours in a variety of general aviation piston, turboprop and jet aircraft.

"The value of simulator-based flight training is something I have been very appreciative of throughout my entire career," said Kromer. "While at Piper, I saw firsthand the positive impact SimCom's dedication to customer satisfaction and their friendly attitude had on our customers. I am very proud to be part of the SimCom team, especially as we enter a period of growth and expansion in providing simulator-based flight training for a growing number of general aviation models and aircraft types."

Wally David, President and Chief Executive Officer added, "SimCom is dedicated to safety and professionalism in the general aviation cockpit. We feel a simulator-based flight training experience is an effective, efficient and safe way to expose pilots to hazards and abnormal situations that are difficult to duplicate in the actual aircraft. Bob Kromer brings a wealth experience and expertise to our team, and as such he will further enhance our ability to deliver training programs that equip our customers with the skills and knowledge required to operate their specific aircraft."
