Looking Back On Aviation History: ANN Turns 30

30 Years? How Fast The Time Flies...

An interesting moment came about this past Sunday as ANN CEO, Jim Campbell, noted that the Aero-News Network came into being exactly 30 years ago (original logo shown).

ANN was the first actual aviation Daily Online News Service, and in the ensuing 30 years, has amassed an extraordinary record... over 600,000 stories, a total of videos, podcasts, Airborne and Aero-TV features surpassing well over 10,000 programs... some tremendously important LIVE programming done in support of a number of our media partners such as the SUN n FUN Aerospace Expo, AEA, AUVSI, and many others.

Recently we published a mission statement... and it still stands as to what you can expect from us -- now and in future...

For 30 years, the Aero-News Network has chosen the road less traveled—innovating with some of the most dedicated and talented individuals in aviation. ANN is a truly original platform, not a patchwork of recycled or mediocre programs peddled to those with more money than discernment.

We innovate with credibility, integrity, and deep expertise. We don’t pretend to be aviation experts—we are aviation experts. Each of us shares a profound commitment to the safety and well-being of every flyer in the Aero-Verse.

We reject 'pay for play.' We are not for sale. We speak the truth, verify the facts—good or bad—and deliver insight that matters. In an industry where information can mean the difference between safety and danger, we take our responsibility seriously.

At Aero-News, we deliver the truth—even when it’s hard to hear—because we believe you deserve nothing less. We can take it, so you don’t have to.

Here’s to the next 30 years....
