CAF Airbase Arizona Announces 2025 Tour Dates

‘Flying Legends of Victory Tour’ To Visit 18 Cities In 8 Western States

The Commemorative Air Force Airbase Arizona is excited to announce the dates for the 2025 Flying Legends of Victory Tour. This year will see the tour start out in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 29 and wind up with a final stop in Chino, California, in October, after a total of 18 stops through 8 states.

In 2024 the Flying Legends Tour traveled around the Eastern U.S. and now this year it’s the Western part of the country that will be treated.

The CAF Airbase Arizona takes its assigned aircraft to the public in the Flying Legends of Victory Tour from May through September. The tour visits approximately 15 cities in the U.S. and occasionally in Canada as well.

This year’s stops include:

  • May 29-June 8:  Albuquerque, NM
  • June 10-15:  Colorado Springs, CO
  • June 17-22:  Denver, CO
  • June 24-29:  Logan, UT
  • July 1-6:  Pocatello, ID
  • July 8-13:  Caldwell, ID
  • July 15-20:  Missoula, MT
  • July 22-27:  Spokane, WA
  • July 29-August 10:  Seattle, WA
  • August 12-17:  Arlington, WA
  • August 19-24:  Salem, OR
  • August 24-31:  Wenatchee, WA
  • September 2-7:  Walla Walla, WA
  • September 9-14:  Chico, CA
  • September 16-21:  Sacramento, CA
  • September 23-28:  Camarillo CA (B-17 only)
  • September 22-29:  Spanish Fork, UT
  • September 30-October 5:  Chino, CA (B-17 only)

During the stops, the B-25 Maid in the Shade and B-17 Sentimental Journey will be available for ground tours where guests can climb up into the airplane and look around the crew stations and cockpit.

Flight experience rides will also be available but you should definitely book seats in advance if you wish to do that because they do sell out!

Tours are made possible by the dozens of volunteers who attend ground school in the spring and then give up one to three weeks at a time during the summer and fall to travel on location with the airplanes.

The volunteers demonstrate their strong passion for keeping the history of the aircraft alive by giving aircraft tours, answering questions, coordinating rides, selling souvenirs, and more. They do this so their legacies of the aircraft and of the air crews who flew them continue to inform the public about the sacrifices that were made to preserve America’s freedom during World War II.
