WIA Honors Six Exemplary Women in Aerospace

Reception On Capitol Hill Later This Month

Women in Aerospace will honor six female aviators later this month at a reception on Capitol Hill. Here's your invitation:

  • When: Tuesday, September 21, 2004, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Where: Rayburn House Office Building Foyer, 1st Floor, Washington (DC)
  • What: Please join Women in Aerospace as we present the 2004 WIA Awards to the following winners:

Lifetime Achievement Award: Estelle Condon, Associate Center Director for Astrobiology and Space Programs, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field (CA).

Outstanding Leadership Award: Celeste V. Ford, President and CEO, Stellar Solutions, Inc., Palo Alto (CA).

Outstanding Achievement Award: Rebecca A. MacKay, Science Advisor to the Materials Division Chief, NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland (OH).

International Achievement Award: Anne Thompson, Research Scientist, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt (OH).

Aerospace Educator Award: Patricia J. Arnold, Vice President of Education and Workforce Development, Space Foundation, Colorado Springs (CO).

Aerospace Awareness Award: Sharon A. Eggleston, Project Management and Planning Operations Representative, Lockheed Martin Information and Technology Services, Bath (ME).
