ALPA And GAMA Congratulate President-Elect, New Congress

Groups Look Forward To Working With Incoming Administration

The Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) and the National Air Transport Association (NATA) issued statements today regarding the results of the November 5, 2024 U.S. general elections.

From the Air Line Pilots Association:

“Congratulations to President-elect Trump. ALPA stands ready to work with the president-elect and the newly elected Congress on continuing our country’s important efforts to keep flying safe and advancing the piloting profession.

“ALPA is proud of our pilot-partisan agenda that focuses on education about ALPA issues and building relationships on both sides of the aisle in order to improve the lives of pilots and advance aviation safety. Every day, we are dedicated to partnering with current and newly elected officials on collaborative efforts to ensure safe, secure, and efficient air transportation of passengers and cargo.”

From Curt Castagna, President and CEO of the National Air Transport Association:

“On behalf of our aviation business members, NATA congratulates President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance on their elections to the White House. NATA looks forward to partnering with the new Administration to advance issues important to both aviation businesses and to our nation, including the deployment of emerging aviation technologies and the modernization of our National Airspace System.

“Business aviation has a proven record of providing valuable, safe air transportation and critical public benefits to communities across the country, and President-elect Trump has a unique opportunity to preserve and enhance these vital transportation services provided by NATA's aviation business members. We look forward to meeting with the transition team to discuss these and other areas where we can work together to strengthen the American economy, demonstrate global leadership in aviation safety, and safeguard the NAS.”
