TransportUP Hosts Urban Air Mobility Showcase At AirVenture

The UAM Showcase Highlights Autonomous Air Vehicles, Hover Bikes, Personal Air Vehicles And eVTOLs

The urban air mobility showcase at AirVenture Oshkosh brings to life the nearing future of aviation, showcasing vehicles of all kinds from some of the top new UAM aircraft developers in the world.

Present at the showcase will be representatives from EmbraerX, Lilium, Beta Technologies, Airbus’s Vahana, Assen Aero and an array of other notable UAM companies. In addition to static aircraft exhibitions, the Showcase is also proud to host a wide series of speakers from 12 different companies, spanning aerospace OEM’s, small startups, policymakers and regulators, and government agencies.

Two executive roundtables will be hosted, one on Airframers: The Future of Urban Aircraft and another on Policy: Shaping Regulatory Environments, Airspace, and Network Infrastructure.

“The world of flight is continually advancing and Oshkosh has been the site where innovations have been showcased for a half-century. Urban air mobility and the next wave of experimental aircraft are moving forward at a breathtaking rate, with ideas, investments and possibilities emerging that will change the way we transport ourselves. TransportUP’s support allows EAA to bring these technologies and concepts to the worldwide audience that attends AirVenture each year,” said David Chaimson, EAA’s vice president of Marketing and Business Development

TransportUP aims to promote and develop the industry of Urban Air Mobility – and AirVenture 2019 is the perfect stage for Urban Air Mobility to be shared with general aviation pilots, aerospace enthusiasts, and the public at large. With the advent of developing UAM technology, the urban air mobility showcase will emphasize the large strides made in advancing aerospace, AI, energy, and infrastructure technologies to help solve the problem of global transportation.
