Enstrom Connects At European Rotors 2024

Amsterdam Event Brings Visibility To Company

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation made an appearance at this year’s European Rotors, the largest business-to-business rotorcraft trade show outside the U.S.

The event was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and more than 4,600 visitors from around the world attended in addition to 234 exhibitors who brought 18 helicopters into the exhibit hall.

The themes this year were safety, helo technology, unmanned aerial systems, and urban air solutions.

Enstrom President Todd Tetzlaff and Chief Commercial Officer Dennis Martin interacted with many customers who stopped by booth 5032 to find out more about the company.

Martin said, “Europe has a large and diverse helicopter market. Enstrom already has many customers in Europe, and it’s important to meet with them face to face so that we can learn more about what’s important to them and how to better support them. As we plan to increase our production and grow our market worldwide, Europe will be key to that growth.”

Besides manning the booth, Tetzlaff also took part in the EASA Rotorcraft and VTOL Safety Symposium where topics of discussion included operational safety improvements, eVTOL certification requirements, and the future of rotorcraft automation.

Tetzlaff also represented Enstrom at the joint General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) and ASD Rotorcraft Subcommittee meeting. That session focused on industry initiatives and upcoming EASA updates to CS-27 and CS-29 (small and large rotorcraft).

Tetzlaff said, “It was great to hear many diverse perspectives. Though we may compete for business, we all face similar challenges, and we’re willing to share our experiences for the benefit of the industry and to make the skies safer across the globe.”

Enstrom is set to attend Verticon 2025, (formerly HAI Heli-Expo) in Dallas, Texas, running from March 10-13, 2025. European Rotors 2025 will take place in Cologne, Germany, from November 17-20, 2025.
