BASE Jumper Leaps From The Shard In London

Stunt Captured On Video By Witnesses

A BASE jumper leaped from the top of The Shard ... a 1,016-foot tall skyscraper in Southwark, London on Saturday, and witnesses captured the stunt on video.

The BBC reports that the BASE jumper landed on a street in south London and walked away at about 10:18 GMT Saturday. There have been no arrests made in connection with the stunt.

Witness Justin Knock said he was buying some cheese at a store on St Thomas street when he looked up and saw the BASE jumper drifting down with his parachute. The jumper and another man gathered up the chute and walked away.

A spokesman for The Shard said that they are "looking into" the incident.
