Anywhere Map Announces Grand Prize Winner

California Flight Instructor Wins Complete System

Control Vision Corp., makers of Anywhere Map, Anywhere Wx, Pocket Plates and other GA products announced the grand prize winner of its recent sweepstakes held at AOPA Expo in Long Beach, California.

The winner, Tom Engleman is from Saratoga CA, and flies a Bonanza B35TC hangared in San Jose International. Tom is a 35-year Hewlett Packard veteran who is now a full-time CFII/MEI.

"You're kidding! I've won an Anywhere Map system?" said Engleman. "I've wanted one of these forever!"

Tom (pictured below) receives a complete Anywhere Map system including the new Version 1.6 software system, a high-resolution iPAQ 4700, Anywhere Tracker GPS, a Citadel Yoke Mount, power supply plus six months of software and NOAA database upgrades.

"We're really happy to see this system go to a flight instructor," said president and CEO Jay Humbard, "we know he's going to show it to his students and to pilots adding to their ratings."

The basic Anywhere Map system being presented can be upgraded to display XM Weather and Pocket Plates, Anywhere Map's Part 91-compliant digital approach system.
