Radiant Technology Intro's Universal Airspeed Indicator

Pilot Configurable To Specific Aircraft Profiles

Radiant Technology LLC has introduced its new Universal Airspeed Indicator, which provides the ability to see speed trends, a huge digital display, and user selectable units of 100, 160 and 200 with either knots or MPH.

Users may calibrate the exact ranges to their aircraft specs, including green, yellow, redline and flap speed. The unit provides additional notification for permissible flap extension, along with an overspeed indicator.

In addition to the screen readability, information and trends, the unit features a medical grade air pressure sensor, which is connected to an existing pitot line like any other steam gauge ASI. "We're taking advantage of an improved air speed sensor, which is very accurate and stable," said James Wiebe, CEO of Radiant Technology.

"We've also worked hard to make the unit easy to program and absolutely intuitive to look at."

This product is now shipping, with a price of $249.95.

The Radiant Technology instrument line combines many functions into simple, small lightweight units and uses sunlight readable full color high contrast LCD as well as LED screens.
