Shell Aviation, Aeroshell Aerobatic Team Continue Their High-Flying Partnership

Extension Covers Next Three Years

Shell Aviation has extended its partnership with the AeroShell Aerobatic Team for a further three years. Shell Aviation’s AeroShell Lubricants has been the proud sponsor of the aerobatic display team since 2003, with the pilots relying on the protection that the company’s range of high-quality engine oils and greases provide.

"As our primary sponsor, AeroShell has been integral in helping the team grow and continue to perform at the high-level our fans expect, said Team Lead, Mark Henley. "I have said this before, but when we fly wing tip to wing tip, there is no other oil I would trust.”

The extension of the partnership comes as the AeroShell Aerobatic Team prepare to entertain crowds at this year's Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-in and Expo in Lakeland, Florida, April 10-15. Debuting a refreshed paint scheme making their AT-6 Texan Aircraft brighter and more visible than ever, the Team will be hard to miss during the night show on Saturday and day shows on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Attendees at Sun ‘n Fun will have the opportunity to take their own virtual flight with the Team at the AeroShell booth, Hangar C, booth number 085. The booth will have AeroShell gurus on hand to take questions, share their expertise, and illustrate how AeroShell oils help to protect aircraft engines. Visitors will also be able to take advantage of great show specials on oil, and pick up exclusive 2018 Sun ‘n Fun posters and AeroShell merchandise.

"It is with great pleasure that we have extended our partnership with the AeroShell Aerobatic Team," said Vanessa Boag, General Manager, Shell Aviation Lubricants. "The team has a rich history entertaining crowds across North America and we are proud to continue supporting Mark and his team, giving them the protection and performance they need for their demanding routines.”
