Data Bundle Service Simplifies The Flying Experience For High Performance Lancair Aircraft
Jeppesen and Lancair have jointly announced that Jeppesen charts and NavData service will be included as part of the purchase process of Lancair Evolution single engine aircraft for the general aviation market.

Jeppesen charts and NavData will be offered with the purchase of Lancair Evolution aircraft as part of a PilotPak data bundle that also includes supplemental databases, including obstacle, terrain, SafeTaxi and airport diagrams. The complete PilotPak data bundle service will be downloaded and installed by Lancair at the time of aircraft assembly completion to simplify the data access process for Evolution aircraft owner-pilots. Additionally, as part of the data bundle service, access to Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck on iPad is included at no additional charge.
“Owners of Lancair Evolution aircraft will now automatically receive the top flight information available in the industry with Jeppesen data onboard,” said Doug Meyer, director of Marketing and Sales at Lancair. “When Evolution owners complete assembly of their aircraft, we will manage their flight data installation, to provide a turn-key delivery process that enhances the overall customer experience.”
Jeppesen NavData is developed from a comprehensive aviation database, which is composed of more than one million records. To ensure accuracy, Jeppesen flight information analysts edit and verify approximately 150,000 database transactions generated from worldwide aviation data source documents during every 28-day revision cycle.
“Pilots worldwide rely on Jeppesen data and we are proud to provide Lancair Evolution aircraft owners with our navigation information as part of the new bundled service,” said Scott Reagan, director, Jeppesen OEM Client Management. “The light sport and experimental aircraft market represents the spirit of aviation innovation and owners of high performance Lancair Evolution kit aircraft will now fly with the top flight data available in the industry and can take to the skies sooner.”
