KidVenture Educational Activities Lineup At EAA AirVenture 2025

Youth Explore With Hands-On Builds, RC Airplanes, Flight Sims, Much More

KidVenture is located just north of the EAA Aviation Museum, at Pioneer Airport, and has arranged a myriad of activities for young people to explore all areas of aviation and aerospace.

Kids will have a lot to choose from at the EAA AirVenture 2025 that runs from July 21-27 at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The fun things will include learning about aviation and space history, experiencing flight through simulators, flying radio-controlled airplanes, hands-on building projects and many other fun activities.

The KidVenture area will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 3:30 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. Buses will be available throughout the day and run from the Bus Park to both KidVenture and the Museum.

Areas of interest/activities include:

Aviation Technology/Mechanical:  Aircraft engines, riveting, wheels and brakes, electric power, avionics, propeller shaping, and building wooden wing ribs.

Flight Education:  Build a radio, control-line flying, RC flying, wood model airplane assembly.

NOTE: RC and control-line flying are designed for more mature youths, but any age level can participate after learning the basics. There will also be daily demo shows by the Circle Masters Flying Club, it’s very cool!

Space Education:  Area 51, compressed air rocket build and launch, Mercury space capsule climb, robotics, rocket coloring.

Other Activities and Attractions: Artist booth (aviation art and design), Cold War Museum (spies and spy planes), HAM radio (talk with people around the world), Rise Above Exhibit (Tuskegee Airmen movie), and the NEW Kids Story Time debut with readings of kids stories with aviation adventures (Wednesday July 23 and Friday July 25, 9 am both days).
