Flying Club Launches In Palm Springs, CA

Piper Dakota Available For Use By Members

Qualified pilots now have use of a Piper Dakota at Palm Springs International Airport as members of Palm Springs Aviators, Inc., the first and only flying club to be established in the Coachella Valley.

For a low initial buy-in and reasonable monthly dues, the not-for-profit club offers reliable, affordable aircraft plus recurrent pilot training from an FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor. Membership is limited to assure availability; the club expects to purchase additional aircraft as membership grows.

Flying clubs are an increasingly popular alternative to individual aircraft ownership as the cost to buy and maintain an airplane continues to rise.  Palm Springs Aviators’ participating pilots can remain active and competent at relatively low cost, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow fliers and actively support important charities including the Civil Air Patrol, EAA Young Eagles and Angel Flight West.
