Banyan Air Service To Host Open House To Celebrate 40th Anniversary

Event Planned For September 14 In Fort Lauderdale, FL

On September 14, 2019 from 10 am – 3 pm, Banyan Air Service based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport will host a customer appreciation open house.

“It was 1979 when it all began and it is hard to believe it’s been 40 years,” says Banyan’s president, Don Campion (pictured). “It’s been a fantastic journey and it’s because of our dedicated teammates and loyal customers that we owe our success. We want to invite you to see what we have built at Banyan.”

The event will feature exhibits, aircraft on display, family entertainment, demonstrations, food and drinks, giveaways and tram tours. Some of the vendors that will be exhibiting include: 4KIDS of South Florida, Alpina Watches, Courtyard Marriott Fort Lauderdale East/Lauderdale by the Sea, Egbe Hospital and School of Nursing Revitalization Project, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, FXE Flight Center, Garmin, Go Rentals, Leatherman Tool Group, Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Snap-On Tools, Steven Greenwald Design, and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.

There will be a static display featuring several aircraft; including a Cirrus SR20, Diamond DA20, Cessna 172, HondaJet, and cars and motorcycles from Rick Case Automotive Group. In addition, there will be a Bahamas Junkanoo band performing at select times, a disc jockey, bounce house, face painting, and carnival games.

During the event, select Banyan teammates will take turns sitting in a dunk tank. Chances to dunk a Banyan teammate are by donation only and all funds raised will benefit Banyan’s Egbe Hospital and School of Nursing Revitalization project. Throughout the day there will be drawings for various prizes; such as hotel and travel certificates, lunch and dinner certificates, and more.
