Plan Your Oshkosh Forum Attendance Now

Schedule is On Line

People planning to attend EAA AirVenture Oshkosh are now able to view the more than 500 aviation forums, workshops and seminars scheduled for the event.

All of the educational sessions at EAA AirVenture, which will be held July 29-August 4 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh (WI), will be listed on the web site's "Forums" area. The Forums area is available through the "Events" heading on the AirVenture home page. Web site users will be able to sort the sessions by date, time, aviation interest or presenter. In addition, more information on individual sessions will be available, including a detailed description of each forum, the presenter's biography, photo and their other forums and workshops during EAA AirVenture.

"The educational forums and workshops are the heart of EAA AirVenture," said Charlie Becker, EAA's Executive Director of Aviation Information Services, who coordinates the AirVenture forums. "By having this information available in advance, visitors can view the speaker's bio, study a detailed description of the forum and make an informed decision of which forums to attend, all before they even arrive on the grounds."

It can't get more-convenient than this:

When a visitor to the web site connects with the AirVenture Forums page, that person can choose to view the forums schedule in one of several options: By date/time, presenter, interest group or keyword search. For each forum listed, there is a link to the forum's location, presenter information and related topics.

Forum listings will also be published in the Info Guide, which is distributed with the official EAA AirVenture program book on the grounds. All forums in the EAA AirVenture Forums Plaza are held in new pavilions that offer superior audio/video abilities, as well as other amenities. These pavilions were constructed as part of a three-year improvement project, completed in 2001, which created an aviation education "campus" for AirVenture forums and workshops. Other forums are held in the Ultralight area and in the FAA Safety Building.
