GAMA, U.S. Congressional And Industry Leaders To Celebrate GA Manufacturing

Jobs Rally Being Held Today In Olathe, KS

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) will host a jobs rally celebrating the contributions of the general aviation manufacturing industry to the Kansas and U.S. economies on Friday, April 6.

Scheduled speakers include U.S. Senators Pat Roberts (R-KS) and Jerry Moran (R-KS), U.S. Congressman Ron Estes (R-KS), Kansas Lieutenant Governor Tracey Mann, Garmin President and CEO Cliff Pemble, Garmin Aviation Managing Director and Executive Vice President Phil Straub, Bombardier Business Aircraft President David Coleal, Textron Aviation Executive Doug May, Yingling Aviation CEO Lynn Nichols, Mayor of Olathe Michael Copeland and GAMA president and CEO Pete Bunce.

The event is a rally highlighting the general aviation manufacturing industry’s strong economic contributions in Kansas and in the U.S., and the industry’s commitment to investing in people and products that support the local economy, promoting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, investing in the future workforce, giving back to communities and those in need and employing veterans.

It is being held at the Garmin International Warehouse and Distribution Center, Olathe, Kansas. GAMA will live stream the rally on its YouTube Channel.
