Five Receive Master Instructor Designation In August

National Accreditation Recognized By The FAA

Five instructors have renewed their Master Instructor designation in the month of August.

Master Instructors LLC said in a news release that all were accredited as Masters by Master Instructors LLC, the international Master Instructor accrediting authority. All obtained their designation through the Master Instructor "Fluid Review" program online.

Professional aviation educators who earned or renewed their "Master" title during August 2016 are:

Lance Alan Bartel, Master CFI, Bel Aire,  KS
Lance Bartel, a 2-time Master and SAFE member, recently renewed his Master CFI accreditation online. A graduate of Kansas State University's Professional Pilot Program at Salina Municipal Airport (SLN), Lance works as an instructor with Textron Aviation.  He specializes in providing Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza factory training courses to customers nationwide while also conducting aircraft flight demonstrations. email: LanceABartel@gmail.com

Lance Bartel Timothy J Brill

Timothy John "Tim" Brill, Master CFI-Aerobatic, Reno,  NV
Timothy J Brill, a 4-time Master as well as a member of IAC and SAFE, recently renewed his Master CFI-Aerobatic accreditation. David Alan "Dave" Simpson, Master CFI. San Diego,  CA
David A Simpson, a 5-time Master and SAFE member, recently renewed his Master CFI accreditation. David Paul "Dave" St George, Master CFI. Ithaca, NY
David St George, a 10-time Master and SAFE member, recently renewed his Master CFI. The newly elected chairman of SAFE and Part 141 charter pilot, Dave is a designated pilot examiner ( http://FAAFlightTest.us/ ) and a FAASTeam representative in the Rochester FSDO area.  Additionally, he was one of the first aviation educators to earn the Master designation when the accreditation program was first introduced in 1997 by then-FAA Administrator Barry Valentine at Oshkosh AirVenture. email: DavidSaintGeorge@gmail.com

Richard Kingston "Rick" Wright, Master Aviation Educator, Phoenix  AZ
Richard K Wright, a 5-time Master and SAFE member, recently earned his Master Aviation Educator (MAE) accreditation. Rick is the founder of Wright Aviation and JetWright LLC based in Phoenix which specializes in initial and recurrent as well as type rating & annual PC training focused on single pilot operations.  A Marine Corps veteran, he also serves as a FAASTeam representative in the FAA's Scottsdale FSDO area. email: Rick@WrightAviation.net

Many of the most recent National Flight Instructors of the Year or National FAASTeam Representatives of the Year were Master CFIs. In addition, the FAA has approved the accreditation as an alternate means for CFIs to renew their flight instructor certificates.
